For everyone who missed the summer exhibition of Het Tekenkabinet at Museum Waterland in Purmerend, or for those who wish to see the collection once again: all drawings are on show in Amsterdam Westerpoort from 11 October to 2 November.
110 artists present over 200 drawings, which introduce the viewer in a clear, accessible presentation (directly onto the wall, without frame or passe-partout or glass) with drawn worlds that one never saw before.
All drawings are for sale, during the exhibition and via the web shop. Sold drawings are packed in a custom made cardboard box.
Tekenkabinet joins The Big Draw
The Big Draw is an anual event by The Campaign for Drawing. In more than 20 countries projects, exhibitions, activities and workshops take place during the month October, in order to get as much people as possible acquaintanted with drawing or get them to start drawing themselves. This year for the First time also in the Netherlands. Het Tekenkabinet puts Amsterdam on the map.
